Advocacy Day is an annual event where we come together with a unified voice in support of homeownership in our state. We meet with our elected officials and share with them our stories, our challenges, and let them know what they can do to help Habitat affiliates across California provide even more life-changing opportunities for affordable homeownership.
In 2026, it’s going to take our united voices to ensure that CalHome homeownership production dollars, streamlined housing approvals, and the removal of barriers to development are a top priority for members of the California Legislature and the Governor as we enter the 2026 legislative and budget cycles.
Join us at our 15th annual event and learn about Habitat California’s 2026 legislative platform, participate in peer group learning sessions, and take part in legislative meetings (even a State Capitol floor session visit!) where we show our elected representatives there is still much work to be done to ensure a safe, affordable place for every Californian to call home.
