Habitat for Humanity California is a statewide coalition of independent Habitat affiliates that serve communities across California. Habitat affiliates bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat California advocates for affordable housing with specific focus on homeownership opportunities for families with limited-incomes. Habitat California’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our mission is to support, educate, and advocate on behalf of Habitat for Humanity affiliates in California.
Our Model
Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds, repairs, and renovates homes alongside our homeowner (partner) families.
Advocacy
We support your local affiliates’ development projects by advocating for regulatory reforms that create more homeownership opportunities for working families.
Our Work
We're fighting to make workforce housing a reality in California. In addition to advocacy work, we build, renovate and repair hundreds of homes all across California.
