Habitat California Advocacy Day 2020
Join Habitat California and your colleagues from Habitat affiliates throughout the state to meet with our elected members of the California State Legislature in Sacramento! Habitat California Advocacy Day participants will receive training and make important legislative visits to advocate for increased access to decent, affordable housing.
In the past, we have joined together to set the framework for major affordable housing legislation, including Habitat for Humanity California’s sponsored bill: the AB 587 Accessory Dwelling Units, separate sale or conveyance and eight additional land use and housing bills signed into law by Governor Newsom October 2019. Come and learn what we’ve got in store for the 2020 as we advocate for bold legislation designed to increase housing production.
Habitat for Humanity California’s 9th annual Advocacy Day will take place on February 3-4, 2020 at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel.
